Accreditations
To help us provide you with an inexpensive but professional service ASET have
passed a number of industry accreditations and are regularly audited (internally
and externally) to make sure we are maintaining accreditation requirements. These
include:
NHVAS - National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation
Scheme. Our philosophy is to make sure that our drivers are driving regularly
maintained trucks/trailers as the equipment we cart for our customers carries
a high price ticket. This accreditation systemises and documents our maintenance
schedules in order to comply with the National Standard.
BFM - Basic Fatigue Management. This particular
scheme is a National Scheme which gives our drivers more flexible driving/work
hours as long as they have been trained to a national standard. The training
provides them with the ability to recognize symptoms of fatigue and what they
should be doing to prevent fatigue. It also requires them to have an up to date
medical before driving.
WA Heavy Vehicle Accreditation - This particular accreditation
is important as most of our loads to and from Western Australia are over-width,
over-length and/or over-height. This accreditation also requires us to make sure
our drivers have a current medical and have been trained to be aware of the symptoms
of fatigue and what they should be doing to prevent fatigue. It also covers vehicle
maintenance requirements similar to the above NHVAS accreditation but for Western
Australia.
